Intomobile put the Apple iPhone 4 head-to-head with a Motorola Droid X to see how the two superphones of the smartphone world measure up. The Droid X is obviously larger than the iPhone 4 – the X’s 4.3-inch display tends to have that effect – but that doesn’t necessarily mean the Droid X has better features. The Droid X has removable battery and storage and has a dual-LED flash and three separate microphones for noise supression and directional audio recording for the camcorder. The iPhone 4 lacks these features but has a higher-quality camera and sleeker design.

the choice is yours ;) enjoy

As I’ve mentioned in the past, most Android phones are more powerful than my first few computers. The next logical step is running those desktop operating systems on our smartphone hardware. In this case, Microsoft Windows 95.

File this under “Why? Because I can”. There’s really no utilitarian reason why one would want to do this, other than to say that they can.

Keep in mind that Windows 95 wasn’t “touch friendly” so you’ll have to tap and drag the mouse cursor around, and “clicks” are tricky because the pointer is so small.

Additionally, the screen resolution is set at 640×480 (which doesn’t fill the screen), you’re probably not going to be able to fire up Internet Explorer and surf the web, install printers, or install additional programs.

And remember, if you don’t properly shutdown, the next time you go to boot up Windows 95 you’ll be met with an old-school Scandisk, even on Android.

PhoneArena presents a video review of the Gigabyte GSmart S1205 is a low- to mid-end Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone, but it’s an interesting one, because of its dual-SIM compatibility, which makes it probably the second such offering, after the Acer DX900. Otherwise, the GSmart S1205 is a bit dated piece of machinery, with a 3.2-inch resistive display with a low resolution of 240×400 pixels, as well as sluggish performance. The manufacturer has tried to make the user experience a bit more cheerful with some customized themes, but its efforts are not very successful.

Todd takes a look at the diminutive Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro, a tiny Android smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard and a 2.6-inch QVGA resolution touchscreen display.

In the dawn of the Apple iPhone 4 launch, the iPhone 3GS takes on the mighty HTC EVO 4G in this epic PhoneArena video comparison ;) .The EVO 4G is without a doubt a dreadful Android smartphone, but the iPhone 3GS clearly shows that it still has a few tricks up its sleeve.

In the middle of last year, Nvidia informed that in 2010 will be a new type of processor SoC (System on Chip) 4x more efficient than the current fastest Tegry. The promise is likely to be kept, as CEO of Motorola’s consumer division, Sanjay Jha said in a meeting “Executives Club of Chicago,” that by the end of Motorola’s world release a smartphone with a processor clocked at 2GHz probably based on the Nvidia Tegra. If that was not enough: the device will have a gyroscope (the same as the iPhone 4), and hardware acceleration for Flash 10.1.

That’s not all: another employee of Motorola who want to remain anonymous said that the future smartphones will have every conceivable technology used in today’s mobile devices. :P

In this Android smartphone we put the HTC EVO 4G against the Droid Incredible. ;)
