iPhone OS 4.0 brought over 100 new features to the table. Many of them are updates for developers to improve their applications, but several of them directly impact the user. Running the first of OS 4.0, here is a walkthrough to highlight some of the improvements in this new firmware.

As previously announced, Apple today made a formal presentation of its newest mobile operating system iPhone OS 4. This system will soon debut the iPhone ( s) the next generation.

But let us focus on the things most interesting, that is what this has to offer new OS from Apple. First and foremost, this will….

1. Multitasking :D

Steve Jobs summed up the issue of multi-tasking statement – “We were the first in this field but we will be the best.”

2. Folders

The whole thing is the same, so we have to do on the computer. To avoid many randomly scattered icons, you can create a folder call it appropriately and put there some shortcuts.

And so in the “” will have us all interesting applications, such as: Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and many others.

That appeared rumors about the possible emergence of multi-tasking in the upcoming iPhone OS 4.0. Inside the SDK that Apple’s developers recently presented, were the numerous references to multitasking.

Rightly observes 9to5mac.com service, from which the above photograph, Apple already has a lot of custom applications that can run in the background: phone, iPod, audio recording, post office. So, if added to support multi-tasking for external applications, surely the last bastion fell to the iPhone opponents.
