Google just released an update to their Maps app for Android, bringing it to version 4.4. So far Google has bee releasing a fairly substantial update to this app every month for the past several months.

Rather than just talk about the new changes, in the following video I’ve broken down Google Maps based on its four distinct functions (including the new “Places” feature), and demo’d adding a Directions & Navigation shortcut to one of your home screens.

Firefox Home syncs with your desktop Firefox browser (with Sync installed) and syncs your browser tabs, bookmarks and browsing history to the app. You open the app on your phone and start browsing pages that you left on your desktop. The Firefox Home app is available now in the AppStore.

A demo of the New and HOT Apple iPhone 4

Here’s a live video chat demonstration on the Sprint HTC EVO 4G . Just recently Qik released the application that allows you to use the front-facing camera on the EVO 4G for video conferencing. As you can see, it works quite well, but requires one caller to press a button to speak, like a walky-talky.
