Philips joins bid for another phone model, which is still little known. Philips Xenium X312 is supposed to be a version of “lite” model, X320, as evidenced by the remarkable similarity between the two phones. The latest cell Dutch company must be distinguished mainly incredibly durable battery, which has allowed up to a month-Standby mode!

Philips Xenium X312 will appear soon on the market in the Asian and Russian. So far it is unknown whether the phone will go to other countries. The new model Philips is the ideal unit for those who need their phone to endure more than 2 days on one load of batteries. According to the manufacturer’s X312 will be equipped with a battery which offers up to 30 days standby. In practice, taking into account the specification of very complex cells, result translates into approximately 7 days of work with the phone.

Nokia have filed a patent for a new type of mobile phone battery which they are currently developing. The new battery uses a Piezoelectric Kinetic Energy Harvester, so basically it will use some sort of kinetic energy.
The battery will work in a similar way to kinetic powered watches, which uses movement to charge their batteries and power the watch.
