Today Opera Software made a beta version of Opera Mini 5 available for the Android platform. Opera says that the Android version of Opera Mini 5 offers all the same features that other versions do, including tabbed browsing, the password manager, bookmarks and Speed Dial. The beta of Opera Mini 5 for Android is a free download. It can be retrieved directly from Opera’s web site.

Opera Software plans to disclose the Opera Mini for iPhone is limited to the media and partners during the presentation of this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

data – a much smaller, providing greater savings. Accompanied by a favorite desktop browser features such as tabbed browsing, Speed Dialing and Password Manager, Opera Mini has been designed primarily with a view to usefulness. It is the younger sister of Opera Mobile.
