The folks at XDA developers are working on porting Android to the HTC HD2. This is their first attempt, and while it’s far from where it needs to be, it’s a great first step. It’s actually the Sense UI version of Android 2.1, similar to what you’ll find on the HTC Desire. Not working: pretty much everything. No radios work, and the software is extremely buggy. We’ll keep an eye out for updates and make more videos when there is something new to report!

In this mortal combat, the iPhone 4 relies on superb build quality, ultra high-res screen, extreme performance and rich app ecosystem, while the EVO 4G uses pure muscle with its gigantic screen, and also takes advantage of the concept of openness. Which one will come on top? Watch video and see!
